What is the "point of no return?"
In a literal definition, it is the point beyond which someone, or some group of people, must continue on their current course of action, either because turning back is physically impossible, or because to do so would be prohibitively expensive or dangerous.
But what does it mean beyond that? The point of no return is not the same for all of us. It's definition varies from person to person.
Is the point of no return, perhaps, when you've gone in so deep that there is no possible way you could go back, not because you don't want to, but because you can't.
Or is the point of no return when you've just begun but don't know how to go back.
Everyone keeps saying to me Dani, you have to give things a shot because won't really know anything until you've tried it. You won't regret it.
You're right, it is something I want. But should I really believe them? Is it going to be something that I won't regret? And what do I do about that little voice in my head that keeps telling me to go against it?
What if I lose something most dear to me on the way?
How do you know when to listen to your either brain, heart, or gut?
Sigh...maybe the point of no return is when you've got yourself into something and know you have to get out before you get to that point when you can't take anything back, but you ignore yourself and go in anyway. What do you do when every part of your body is telling you to go, but every other part of your body tells you to stop? You don't really know what you've missed until it's lost, huh.
What really is the point of no return?

No More Worries
this is something that i wrote yesterday while i was sitting in Starbucks. i heard a tune that i liked and a lyrics that i liked.
plus, i was bored.
the song is based on this:
spread the peace and love amongst all.
i don't really know what it is.
i could be a poem or a song.
doesn't really matter, does it?
it just...is.
done.
i think it kinda sucks...
whatever.
hope you enjoy.
No More Worries
“Don’t worry about nothin’, man.
‘Cause you’re A-O.K.
Just keep those tunes a-comin’
And I’ll see you again someday.”
What’s the matter people?
There’s no reason to be upset.
Put down those knives and pitchforks
Before you do something you might regret.
No need to send in the Armed Forces.
The last thing this world needs is another threat.
You gotta remember what that man told you
‘Cause it will help you today. He said: “Don’t you worry ‘bout a thing, darlin’
‘Cause you’re perfect in your own way.
keep those tunes a-comin’
And they’ll help you out someday.
That heart is strong with wonders.
Don’t you ever let that get away.
I hope you remember what I say.”
Hey, what’s the matter sunshine?
Let me tell you something that I learned today.
I learned that you gotta realize
That violence is not the way.
You must respect the hearts of people
For all they’re worth.
You see, a man they cannot see
Helped me find my way.
He sat down next to me and said:
“Child, you have to listen to what I’ve got to say.”
He sang: “Don’t you worry ‘bout a thing, honey
‘Cause you’re gonna fly today.
Just keep those tunes a-comin’
And you’ll be happy with the day.
You’re gonna spread a feeling
To all who live with a way.
Hey baby, you’re gonna change
Someone’s life someday.
So you see, its gotta happen.
You’ll see, it will one day.
Spread the peace and love
And stop the tears.
You gotta do it through the music
And you will change the world someday.
Let there be no more problems like:
Hunger, abuse, wars, and dismay.
Break the sunshine through the rainy day.
Let’s live in peace and harmony.
And you gotta sing it,
You gotta play it,
And say:
“Don’t you worry ‘bout a thing, darlin’
‘Cause you’re perfect in your own way.
Just keep those tunes a-comin’
And they’ll help you out someday.
That heart is strong with wonders.
Don’t you ever let that get away.
I hope you remember what I say.
Yeah,
Don’t you worry ‘bout a thing, honey
‘Cause you’re gonna fly today.
Just keep those tunes a-comin’
And you’ll be happy with the day.
You’re gonna spread a feeling
To all who live with a way.
Hey baby, I promise you
You’re gonna change someone’s life someday.
Yeah,
That’ll be the day
With no more worries.

You Don't Exist
hey, do you know that NOTHING can be proven. it's true. you can try to prove me wrong all you want, but you can't.
Ex: 2+2=4
you can't really prove that 2 plus 2 really equals 4. what proof do you have? yeah, it's basic knowledge and common sense, but you have nothing to prove it.
but seriously, think about it. nothing can be proven to the very core of its beginning. just because someone said it's so doesn't mean it is. it's not proof.
if i said that all grass was purple, i would have nothing to prove it even if it was true.
it's complicated.
have you ever had one of those dreams that you're not really sure was a dream? You think it might have been a dream, but you also think it might have been reality? i have had a few of those kind of dreams.
sometimes i wonder, is reality just a dream and are we actually living reality in our dreams? Let me put that in a less complex matter. is reality a dream and are your dreams you real life?
hear me out on this. how do we know that what you're living right now, you standing, walking, talking, everything in this very moment in time, is not really a dream? Maybe our dreams are our real lives. No one has really told us otherwise. You just always assumed dreaming was when you were sleeping or dazing off and that reality was when you were awake.
This does not exist. You're not real. You are just a dream--a figment of your, or someone else's imagination.
i'm not the only one who suggests this either. people and bands think things like this all the time. Radiohead is a great example.
you all probably think i'm trippin' or am somewhat insane, which i might be, but you have nothing to prove me wrong.
life is really weird like that.
it's just something for you to think about.
random thought:
the people here at Starbucks are so nice. i come here every day except Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. i come to do work and write and whatever. and they know i come here almost every day and one of the Baristas come up to me and ask me how i'm doing. and we just kinda stroke up a little conversation. it made me smile.
